About PNSC

We are the official cross country ski club in Fort McMurray operating out of the

Doug Barnes Cabin and managing 35km of ski trails on the beautiful Birchwood Trails.

Special thanks to the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo for supporting the Ptarmigan Nordic Ski Club over the years.

Ptarmigan Nordic Ski Club has a variety of youth programs to meet all levels of development from ages 4-16 years old.

All skiers are encouraged to become a member of our Club - novice and advanced, occasional and regular, recreational and competitive.
